Hyundai Digital Key
In addition to your key fob, you can now use your compatible Android smartphone to unlock the doors and start the engine. You can also share the available Digital Key with another driver's phone.4
Blind-Spot View Monitor
With this available feature, when turn signals are on, side-view mirror cameras show a video feed of SONATA’s blind spots on the digital instrument panel cluster. 5
Step into the future.
Surround yourself with the essentials in our roomy midsize sedan. Thoughtful, innovative features presented in a modern, clean space designed for your comfort, convenience and sophisticated style.
High Beam Assist (HBA)
Constantly turning your high beams off and on can be a hassle, which is why this thoughtful feature automatically does it for you. It can detect oncoming vehicles and also when they’re no longer there, toggling between high and low beams accordingly.
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
Your vehicle may warn you through audio and visual cues if your vehicle drifts out of its driving lane without signaling. If necessary, it may gently apply corrective steering assistance to help keep you inside the lane.6
Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go
While traveling at a speed set by you, it uses radars to help maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. Your vehicle may also come to a complete stop automatically when the vehicle in front of you stops. When you slow down to 6 mph or less, it automatically turns off but can reactivate if the vehicle in front moves within 3 seconds.7

4 Near Field Communication (NFC) digital smartphone key requires a compatible Android smartphone and an appropriately equipped 2023 SONATA vehicle. Not all Android devices are compatible. SONATA vehicle must be equipped with smart key with push button start, wireless device charging, and Audio Video Navigation System 5.0 (or newer) or Display Audio 2.0. Lock/unlock functionality works on front doors only. Features and specifications subject to change. See your Owner's Manual for additional details and limitations.
5 Standard on Limited trim. Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) assists driver in changing lanes by providing a live view of the blind spots on either side of the vehicle and an audible alert if another vehicle is detected. Turn signal must be activated and other system limitations apply. Do not rely exclusively on BVM. It is the driver's responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
6 Standard on all trims. Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) will not work under all circumstances. It functions when it is able to detect painted lane markings. It cannot function if the lane markings cannot be seen clearly, if the lines are faded, or during dusk without headlights on, with snow, rain, sleet, dust, leaves or standing water on road, sudden changes in brightness such as shadows, tunnel exits/entrances, low sunlight angle causing reflections, multiple lane markings or criss-crossed lines, tar crack sealer and cracked or broken road surfaces. It also may not function on very rough roads, when walls, curbs or concrete barriers are close by, or if following another car too closely. Since it "sees" the lane markings using a camera in the upper windshield area, it is imperative this area be clear and free of blockage such as stickers, dirt, snow, tinting material, markings and labels. Avoid putting objects on the dashboard that may reflect light or images onto the system camera area. Lane Keeping Assist is not a substitute for safe driving practices, but is a supplemental assist only. The driver is responsible for always maintaining command and control of the vehicle and must keep hands on the wheel at all times. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
7 Standard on all trims. Smart Cruise Control (SCC) is not a collision avoidance or warning device. SCC is for highway use only and should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, or on winding or slippery roads. Driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
